Bathrooms are a room that can get cluttered super easily. Makeup and skincare, products, cleaning products, medicine cabinets – these are all things that can really cause a cluttered room! I definitely found some great options, and want to share them with you so you can learn how to maximize space in a small bathroom!

This post is all about small bathroom organization ideas!

Small Bathroom Organization Ideas

1. Over-Door Towel Hook

Over-door hooks are awesome for hanging towels, robes, or anything else you need easily accessible! This storage is a bit hidden since you can’t see it when your door is open, but also provides lots of hanging storage. These require no installation at all, and are renter-friendly since you don’t need to drill in any holes or mount it to a wall!

2. Under-Sink Cabinet Organizer

Take advantage of all vertical space and deep cabinet space using an under-sink organizer! The sliding drawer allows you to easily access your storage, especially in hard-to-reach places line the back of a cabinet.

This is one of my favourite bathroom cabinet organizer ideas! I used this in my bathroom to store cleaning products, but it’s so versatile you could use it for almost anything! I included 2 options below (one with single basket, one two-tiered).

3. Standing Storage Cabinet

If your bathroom has limited cabinet space, you can add a small cabinet like the one linked below. This storage cabinet is narrow and would fit in small spaces, but still adds valuable storage space! Although it’s small, you can fit bathroom essentials like toilet paper, washcloths, or extra skincare products.

4. Wall Cabinet

Wall cabinets are a great option for small bathrooms. This hanging organizer provides tons of storage without taking away any precious floor space! Of course, this requires to be mounted onto the wall so it’s not a great option if you’re renting.

5. Storage Baskets

Baskets are multi-functional as both decor and storage space! I love the neutral colours on the storage basket I linked below, it would go well with so many different bathrooms. You could put extra toilet paper in the basket beside the toilet. Or, store extra towels in this basket!

6. Drawer Organizers

I recommend drawer organizers for almost any room, and bathrooms are no exception! Separate your makeup or skincare with these drawer organizers. It will be so much easier to find what you’re looking for when your products are sorted and organized!

Of course, always make sure to measure your drawers to make sure your inserts will fit properly.

7. Countertop Storage Organizer

In addition to drawer organizers, I also recommend the makeup/cosmetics organizer linked below! It can be used to organize products on your countertop. I love that it has different sized compartments for different products. If you don’t like the look of this on your countertop, you could also put this organizer in a drawer.

9. Floating Shelves

If your bathroom has limited counter space, or if you have products that would look good on display, floating shelves are a great option! The one I linked below also has a towel bar, so it does double-duty as a towel holder. Floating shelves can be a great blend of function & style.

10. Wall and Cabinet Organizer

A great renter-friendly version of floating shelves is this wall/cabinet organizer! It’s mounted with command strips, so you won’t leave any damage on the walls when you remove it. This organizer could go either in your shower as a shower caddy, or on your wall if you want to prevent countertop clutter.

11. Over-Toilet Storage Rack

Lastly, this over-toilet storage rack is another renter-friendly organization idea. Similar to the floating shelves, you’ll get tons of extra shelf space. But this storage rack also comes with a toilet paper holder and hooks for things like bath towels! It’s a great multi-functional piece of furniture for your bathroom.

Plus, space above the toilet is rarely used so you’ll be maximizing space in a very under-utilized area.
